Responsibilities:
- Handle plaintiff personal injury matters from pre-litigation through trial
- Develop litigation strategy and aggressively advocate on behalf of clients
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement demands
- Take and defend depositions
- Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
- Maintain strong client communication throughout the life of the case
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff in a team-oriented environment
- Manage a caseload independently while driving matters toward successful resolution
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active Michigan bar license in good standing
- 3+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience preferred
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Experience handling depositions, motion practice, and case strategy
- Trial experience is a plus
- Ability to manage a busy caseload in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for representing plaintiffs and fighting for client outcomes
