Construction Litigation Associate Job in Columbus, Ohio

A prominent national law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Construction Practice Group in Columbus, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support all phases of construction-related litigation matters
• Oversee and execute discovery strategy, including document review and production
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and other court filings
• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare written analyses
• Collaborate with team members on complex disputes in both state and federal courts

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of construction litigation experience
• Demonstrated experience handling discovery, motion practice, and legal writing
• Exposure to state and federal court proceedings
• Arbitration experience is a plus
• Familiarity with construction liens and bond claims is advantageous
• Strong academic background and excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment
• Admission to the Ohio Bar is required
