Description
We are currently assisting a large general practice firm in its search for a Litigation Associate to join its bustling and expanding Metro Detroit office. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants to immerse themselves in a wide array of commercial litigation matters.
Responsibilities
- Litigate a wide variety of disputes in the commercial space, which includes matters involving private / public companies, hospital systems, automotive, manufacturing, real estate, financial services, and suppliers
- Collaborate with the firm's leading litigation partners in Detroit, as well as have opportunities to work with litigators across the firm's other offices.
- Participate in all aspects of litigation, from discovery to settlement negotiations.
- Engage with clients to provide legal insights and build relationships
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of one year of law firm experience in litigation.
- Strong interest and experience in complex commercial litigation
- Admission to the Michigan bar or ability to obtain admission promptly.
