Commercial Litigation Attorney Job in Detroit, Michigan

We are working with the Metro Detroit office of a national firm to recruit a commercial litigation associate to join its busy practice. We are seeking a litigation attorney with a background or interest in commercial litigation to work in a diverse practice that includes business disputes, employment litigation, restructuring litigation, and other complex matters.

Responsibilities:

• Develop litigation strategy
• Brief writing
• Taking and defending depositions
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests
• Motion practice
• Direct client interaction

Seeking:

• JD with at least one year of litigation experience with a law firm
• Background with commercial litigation or an interest in litigating business disputes.
• Michigan Bar or eligible for admission without examination
